What we're for
Prepared means you know what to sort, and what can wait. Present means you are in the room, not waiting to be handed a job. Together means the baby, your partner and you.
We write in plain UK English. We would rather be useful than clever. The first guide, The First Chapter, runs from pregnancy to three months. The brand is meant to stay with you through the early years.
The team
dadwoven does not publish a founder's name, photo or location. That is deliberate. The guides should stand up whoever wrote the paragraph you are reading.
Everything public is signed The dadwoven team. If you need to reach us, use the WhatsApp channel (opens in a new tab). That is the front door. There is no personal inbox on this site.
How the guides are checked
Health content is checked against guidance from the NHS (opens in a new tab), NICE (opens in a new tab), the Lullaby Trust (opens in a new tab) and GOV.UK (opens in a new tab). We do not take payment to put something in that content, or to leave something out.
Checked against public guidance is not the same as medical advice. Your midwife, GP or health visitor knows your situation. The guide does not. If you need urgent help, call NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency.
What this site is for
Right now the job is simple: give you The First Chapter, free, on WhatsApp, and tell you who it is for.
The site is built so it can hold more later. A longer guide library. An email list, which is not switched on. A shop or courses, which do not exist yet. None of that is promised on a date. When something is real, it will say so here, and on the channel.
